Meet the team:

Working for Southampton Hospitals Charity

Leadership team

My role is to provide strategic leadership to the charity, supporting the team to be able achieve their ambitions in raising money and supporting the Trust to deliver outstanding care and experience. I’m passionate about ensuring that the donations we receive deliver measurable improvements to the experience of patients, families and staff. My other role is Associate Director of Patient Experience within the Trust's experience of care teams - I feel very fortunate to get to work with both teams.

Ellis – Charity Director

I’m responsible for developing the communication strategies that focus on driving engagement and building brand awareness whilst emphasising our purpose and impact at UHS. The stories we hear from patients every day about the life changing treatment and care they’ve received is incredibly inspiring, and knowing that SHC can enhance this care means that we can make a lasting impact for generations to come.

Cath – Head of Communications

I strive to make a difference to the staff at UHS who do incredible things every day. We are so privileged to see first-hand the difference our donors make to the patients and their families. I get to work with and meet some incredible people; from supporters donating their money, the nurses working tirelessly to make patients more comfortable, clinicians carrying out lifesaving operations and my Charity staff who care so passionately about the work we do.

It is my role to develop, alongside my amazing team, inspiring and engaging fundraising activity that reaches all areas of the community. Everyday I am continually blown away by the generosity that we see across our communities. In people that just want to support our Charity to make a difference. It may sound like a cliché but we can not do everything we do without the continued and dedicated support of individuals such as you. Thank you rarely seems enough, but thank you.
